This is the image for the news article titled Homework Center Is Back!RBHS Homework Center is officially starting on Monday, October 2. Homework Center is a drop in, academic support program, before and after school, operated by WA-BLOC (Washington Building Leaders of Change).

It partners with various university and community tutors to support scholars with homework completion, research design, study skills, test preparation, college/career, etc.

Homework Center is collaboratively managed by WA-BLOC staff, Darozyl Touch and Jordan Butler.  Our goal is to create a highly supportive, engaging, relevant, and safe space for students to gain academic support and tools to be successful.

    Operation Hours:

Before school: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30-8:45am in RM 265 “Success City”

After school: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:45-5:30pm and Wednesdays 2:30-4:30pm in the Library

Please spread the word to your scholars!  We will provide printed copies of flyers in your mailboxes to post in your classrooms this week.

Finally, we are still recruiting tutor support and can use your support to spread the word!  This is a great opportunity for community members, business leaders, parents, etc to support our collective mission here at RBHS.   I have attached our tutor recruitment flyer along with our program flyer for your reference.  (All tutors must go through WA-BLOC training and pass SPS volunteer background check prior to starting).

We look forward to serving our RBHS scholars with you this school year!
