Welcome Back, Rainier Beach Students and Families!
    Posted on 08/25/2020

Dear Families of Rainier Beach High School,

We hope this letter finds you well, safe and healthy!  This has been an interesting year filled with anxiety and uncertainty and we understand the hardships many of our families are facing.  With that said, we want to reassure you that our entire staff at Rainier Beach is here to support you and our scholars in receiving a high quality education through remote learning, eliminating barriers including access to technology and basic needs, and providing you the care and love you deserve during these unprecedented times.  Our commitment to equity and antiracist practices will be at the forefront of everything we do!

Below, please find important information you will need to know to ensure your scholar is prepared for a successful start to this school year.  This is a lot of information, so you may want to pull out your calendar to plug in these dates.  Please note all the online links on this document so that you can easily complete forms and join meetings.

We know communication with our families will be even more important in a virtual environment, so we are asking you to complete this needs survey that gives us updated contact information, technology and basic needs requests (food cards, rent support, mental health, etc.).
