Dear Rainier Beach Students and Families:
Please use the resources below to help you find technology support this school year:
Laptop Support and Internet Access
Login and Passwords
- Student username follows the following format: 1+FirstInitial+MiddleInitial+Last Name. For example, John W. Smith’s username will be 1jwsmith . This will work for the vast majority of students. If that format doesn’t work, which may happen for students with very common last names, please contact your teacher or RBHS librarian to look up the student's username.
- For returning SPS students, login is the same as it was year, including the password.
- If your student forgot their password, please contact their teacher or RBHS librarian to have the password reset.
- For students new to SPS, the default password is their 8-digit birthdate (MMDDYYYY). After first login, they’ll be prompted to reset their password.
- Information for a student knows their current password and wants to reset it.
Schoology Access
- The best way to access Schoology is through the Students tab on top of any District web page.

Student Email
- Students now have school email! All student announcements from the school and the district will be sent to this email address, and students can use it to email their teachers.
- To access your email on your school laptop, just click on the Student Email shortcut on your desktop. This should take you directly to your Inbox.

- If on a personal device, please go to outlook.seattleschools.org , then log in with your school username@seattleschools.org (remember that your username starts with "1").
- You can also install an Outlook app on you phone.
