All RBHS Students will be Testing on Wednesday, Oct. 14 – Arrive Ready and on Time!

Dear Rainier Beach High School Families,

Wednesday, October 14th, is an all-school testing day! Students will be taking the following tests:

• 9th and 10th graders: MAP (Measures of Academic Progress)
• 11th graders: PSAT (Preliminary/ Practice SAT)
• 12th graders: the SAT

All tests will begin promptly at 8:50 AM. Students will be testing in their Advisory classrooms. Running Start students – please fill out this form to register if you are planning to attend the SAT or PSAT (you’ll be asked to enter your school username and password to access the form from a non-SPS device, such as your phone or personal computer). The link has also been emailed to all Running Start students and sent to parents/ guardians via School Messenger and Talking Points.

Scholars must arrive to school on time as we are not able to admit late arrivals to the SAT and PSAT exams per the College Board rules.

In order to test, students must have an SPS-issued laptop. If your scholar does not already have one, they must pick up a laptop before the test day. Laptops can be checked out from the school library or the IT Help office at any time leading up to the test. Laptops will NOT be checked out the morning of the test as we must start testing promptly at 8:50 AM.

To prepare for the PSAT or SAT exams, all Juniors and Seniors have been emailed instructions on how they can access free SAT prep from the Princeton Review on Tutor.com. The instructions have also been shared and practiced in 11th and 12th grade Advisories. Please reach out to Ms. Moges if you need this information resent.
