Rainier Beach High School Leadership Announcement

Dear Rainer Beach School families and staff,

I am pleased to announce Annie Patu as the new principal of Rainier Beach High School.

Principal Patu was selected through a formal interview process that included staff, students, parents, and community participation. What stood out to the Rainier Beach team is her strong leadership experiences and collaborative and equity-driven approach. As a strong and experienced school leader, Principal Patu and brings a passion and commitment to the Rainier Beach community. During her interview she expressed that she saw Rainier Beach and its new building as a beacon of hope of what is to come for the students, staff, and families.

We will be setting up opportunities for building staff, students, and families to meet Principal Patu.

I also want to thank Principal Ivory Brooks for his leadership at Rainier Beach High School for many years.
