Greetings, Vikings!

We are thrilled to announce an amazing opportunity for you to explore diverse career pathways and gain valuable insights into various industries through the Washington Alliance for Better Schools (WABS) Career Tour at Rainier Beach on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Seven buses will leave campus heading to journey the many post-secondary options.  This opportunity is for 10th-12th grades ONLY and it is on a first come, first served basis, so sign up today! The event is FREE but registration is required.

TOUR OVERVIEW

During this 3-4 hour tour, students will:

• Gain Awareness and Exposure: Discover many jobs within a company and industry.
• Envision Future Roles: Hear from employees directly about a variety of educational and career pathways.
• Hands-On Experience: Participate in interactive, work-based learning activities that teach more about the industry.

TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

• Walking Tour: Get an inside look at the company or warehouse, guided by industry professionals.
• Interactive Activities: Engage in activities that provide a real-world understanding of the industry.
• Networking and Presentations: Hear from employees across various departments and roles, gaining insight into their experiences and career journeys.
