We’re in the final stretch of our move!

Dear Viking Families,

I hope this newsletter finds you well. We are in the final stretch of our move into the new building, and we are so excited! In an effort to acclimate our staff and students to the new space, we have adjusted our schedule for April 21st and April 22nd to a 4-hour late start. Please see the schedule below, which has also been sent to your scholar’s school email. Scholars will start our regular bell schedule on April 23rd.

There are four phases to the RBHS replacement project, and we will be entering Phase 4 starting April 21st. This means there will still be construction happening during this phase that will alter parking availability and entrance to the new building. The existing building along with the parking lots will be closed and prepped for demolition. Below please find a map so you know where drop off and pick up is located off of Henderson St and parking availability which will include the parking lot in front of Planet Fitness, along Seward Park Avenue, Henderson St., and the Boat Launch. We will be planning a soft opening in May for our families and our community to tour the new building, so stay tuned!

In addition to the move, the end of 3rd quarter is April 8th and Spring Break is April 14th – April 18th. Our Seniors are in preparation for end-of-the-year activities and graduation. All families of Seniors will be sent a detailed timeline of all the events by the first week of May. Your partnership in support of all of these transitions is extremely helpful, so please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have questions or need more clarity. Thank you and take care.
